Welcome to the Church MAP site, a resource for those engaged in Mission Action Planning at church, area or diocesan levels. All the documents on this site have been supplied by churches or church organizations that are willing to share and learn together
Mission Action Planning is used by many churches and some dioceses to review their mission strategy and then to plan and track their chosen actions – usually on an annual basis. In many cases MAP is used as a key part of an overall growth strategy
There are many approaches to MAP but there are also some common principles. This site aims to be a resource for those already involved with MAP or are thinking about starting MAP work – providing news, examples, processes, methods and a discussion forum for MAP
